Champagne toast?

I've been reading on the budget board to save money by not doing the champagne toast and let guest use what they have during toasts. We were going to have limited wine (red&white) and the champagne toast as the only alcohol during our noon lunch reception. Its about a $180 saving if we take it out. Thoughts?

You can save that money to add towards something else or your honeymoon...let them drink what they have thats what ill be doing LOL (My Opinion)

You could always use apple cider, I think people like that more than champagne in any case.

I voted for save your cash.   I don't drink chamapgne so if I find some at my place setting, it stays there, but now whatever I already have in my glass, must be what I wanted to drink.

$180 = tip money.

Most of the time people don't drink the champane at the toast. It just sits there after the toast and goes to waste. Save your money honey and put it towards something else. They can toast with what they have.
