Monday Accountability

Hi Ladies!

I've seen a few of us post about starting our diets and exercise plans over today. Some have fallen off the wagon. So come on in and check in!

How did you do last week with your eating and exercise? Victories? Setbacks? What are you going to do differently this week? What areas are you struggling?

  • I'll go. I have fallen off the wagon ever since July 4th holiday. Put on about 7 lbs. I have only been in the gym 1 or 2 days at the most and I have not been cooking or eating healthy.  FI and I both just had gym burn out I guess. But I have my final fitting next week and I don't want to be disappointed. Baked chicken and veggies tonight. Back in the gym 3-4 days this week. That's a promise!

  • Ive been doing pretty bad.  I started back my RFL diet today.  I gained 6lbs and I wanted to be (now) 15lbs less than I am now.  with only 45 days to go, Im not sure if that is a reasonable goal anymore.

    We have apprx 6 weeks left right? (I'm at 48 days so right behind you) Approximately 2.5 lbs a week is doable! Especially combining eating right and exercise. Even if you don't hit the 15 you can get really close. It's ok to have setbacks but you don't have to stay there. You can do it!

    Tracey, Im just bugging out I think.  Why cant I be one of those people that loose weight when they stress?  Atleast it would have some positive side effect

  • Well I have been hanging in tough...I missed the gym last weekend because I was at Essence and ate like a hog...gained 2 lbs too...so this week I am doing this meal plan that helps you lose 10 lbs in 7 days....I will post the link

    I have worked out all weekend and overall I feel good. My trainer and I are going to juice too! Straight liquids and almonds as snacks for 7-10 days. I have 10 lbs left to lose and then I will focus on maintaining and toning up.

  • UGH....I HATE EXERCISE!!!! i have a gym membership that i pay for but never go to...its just kinda far. i figured if i get a good dvd and work out at home thatll work better...but then my friend made a good point about just going to the gym where at least ill have variety. i just HATE that my gym is kinda far from home and i have to go there after work when im already tired. Plus if i do it at home, as soon as i see that couch, its over.

    ugh. why cant i just breathe in skinniness? life is so unfair.
  • I am Starting today I went to the doctor friday and within 5 months of being out the military I have gained 50lbs UGGGHHHHHHHHH! and my FI saying u dont look that big of course cuz u like hips and azz UGGGHHHHhH! 

    Then I went to Alfred Angelo dress shop and had to try on plus size dresses I could have screamed even though i did look good Wink but that is not where I want to be I have never weight over 200lbs.....But i just found the 6 month workout plan on TK and I'm going to start there along with what my dietician wrote down...now i just got get my FI to go by these meal plans since I don't cook...

    I need this motivation ladies pls keep it up for my sakes lol!

  • No weight gain so that's a plus. Tried a pilates class last Wednesday, forgot how much of a good workout pilates is. So I will add that to my work out schedule. Really want to try to loose some of my a**, hips and thighs..LOL. 

    I have also been doing the whole "green juicing" thing. Not using it as a meal replacement, just having it when I would like e.g after a workout. More of a good thing for the body move. 

    Bad: FI and I went to an all you can eat sushi place..delicious but not a good look for my weight loss goals. 

    Keep pushing ladies...healthy lifestyles!

  • I have completely fell off the wagon. I haven't been to my gym in almost two months. I just graduated from school and studying for my state boards. I totally neglected my workout but I'm ready to start over

  • I've been doing ok. Not good but not bad. I am maitaining. I have been trying to do 50 push ups a day trying to get my arms together.
