There are a few things I liked and didn't like and just other details.
The arch was beautiful and its actually also my arch. The girl getting married, her mom and mine are co-workers and they decided to split the price of the arch and so it was used today for this wedding and I will used it for mine in July. We are just going to take off all of her designs and add mine.
The cake was made by my aunt who is doing my cake. The funny thing was this couple was black and their cake topper was a white couple, Michael's must have been sold out of black couples.
The wedding was at the house of the bride's mom and it was pretty much pulled together in a month. I know for sure the bride is 19, but I am not sure how old the groom is. I am not sure if they were expecting the amount of people they had because in the end it was packed in there. Luckily I got there early for an actual seat, most people stood.
This made me think about really crunching the numbers and having an exact number of people invited to people that is equal to or under the number of chair was have.
I thought it was cute that as they jumped the broom everyone was handed bells to ring and the sound was so nice.
One thing is I will really have to sit down with my caterer and eat some of his food because where I was sitting this girl was talking crap about something we were given to eat. I need to make sure that the food A has flavor and B is presented nicely because I know some people who have been invited might be a little messy styled and talk stuff.
My pastor I know will rock the ceremony. The guy they had was good in the things he had to stay, but he stuttered so much through the ceremony sometimes it was hard to keep track of what he was saying. At one point during the vows the bride was like, "huh? repeat that."
My videographer was also there and I got to see how he works. While people come in he has one camera that catches the guest arrive while he has his wife with another camera. During the ceremony they are on both cameras.
This wedding really gave me some things to think about. I also got to see an old friend so that was good.
