Favor Etiquette

Okay yall so our fly away budget is calling for some major cuts...i wanted use 8inch candles with the program attached as favors...may not do this anymore but I was putting small 3inch glass candles on the tables lit...now I'm thinking I can buy and put our personalized wedding labels on these candles and give to guests as favors...but is that inappropriate if they've already been lit? Should I just buy more to light and leave theirs un lit??

you dont HAVE to do favors. What if you just do the candles on the tables and then do a favor thats easy and cheap. We are going to either do wedding cake as the favor or im going to make something like a smores trail mix or something and put it in a cute little bag, shouldnt cost more than $20 to make enough for everyone.  figure if Im going to do favors I want it to be something people wont throw away. I dont think anyone really wants anything with our name on it....i know i throw that stuff out
