NWR -Makeup

I'm in the market for new makeup and I want to switch it up. Do you ladies have any recommendations? I prefer powder. Thanks!!

Re: NWR -Makeup

  • I love MAC Studio Fix. I love the coverage and it lasts all day for me with minimal touch ups.

I've been around but I always feel weird since i'm married.....Ilol

  • I like studio Fx as well! MAC has good shades also Bare Minerals is good. I use that one too.....it doesn't cover up my freckles like MAC does!
  • i am Anti MAC foundation lol and i love MAC

    i reccomend mineral foundations
bare minerals makes a nice one but iw ould test run it... i know it has made some folks itch... not me.... i do custom blend foundation....

it also depends on what kind of foundation you like or need for your skin type *putting my mary kay hat on*

If you have dry skin i would reccomend a liquid or cream foundation
if you have oily skin i would reccomend a powder or cream to powder foundation
and you want to set your foundation with a sheer powder be it powder or cream/liquid
also use a foundation primer so the foundation will not settle in to the fine lines we all have.....

  • I have relatively dry skin and I use MAC studio tech, it's kinda like a cream. Also, and I'm sure thedivav can consign....what you use for applying your makeup will make all the difference! I use a certain kind a foundation brush (Eco tools foundation brush) I never use the sponge that comes with the makeup. Also I use a kabuki brush for setting my foundation with the bare minerals mineral veil. Don't forget to prime, prime, prime!!!! I use bare minerals prime time.

</div><div>yes their mineral veil is the biz..... </div><div>
</div><div>yes your brushes are important..... i use brushes and a spong to get in the corners near my eyes when i do use liquid... i have dry skin but i use powder... i hate the feel of liquid but i do use it when i want the full DIVA-ness of it all lol </div><div>
</div><div>Sonya Kasiha brushes at Target are not expensive and they are GREAT to use.... </div><div>
</div><div>and proper cleaning of your brushes helps too.... </div><div>
