We talked to Kelsey, the woman we've been working with at the Woodmark, and she emailed us this morning to let us know that she had cut our deposit in half from $3000 to $1500!!! I am soo excited, that helps out our budget so much!!

    So does that mean that they are deducting $1500 from the total cost of having the event there or they're just lowering the deposit amount? That's great if they're taking off $1500, if it's just less of a deposit, at least you'll have a little more money for a little longer.

    The deposit goes towards the final food and beverage bill, since we are using their in-house catering, and she is waiving the cake cutting fee, the facility fee, and the ceremony fee, so it helps quite a bit.  I did a happy dance when we found out lol.
