Anyone see the Lala and Carmelo Anthony Wedding Show?

Did any of you ladies tune in to see the new show on VH1 that is showing Lala Vasquez and Carmelo Anthony planning their wedding? 

FI and I watched it and were quite disappointed.  It was pretty boring, Lala seemed very fake (compared to how she usually is - she even lost her NY accent!) and Carmelo was only minimally interested in the wedding (or so it seemed). 

If anybody watched it, what did you think?

I watched it and was sorta bored too.  I think I was expecting the same LaLa from her VJ days on MTV but she "seemed" to be just a normal chick who happened to came into some $$$ and now doesn't know what to do how to put together her wedding with a well known WP.

1st off I was definitely disappointed with her $8K custom dress Vera Wang designed for her - R U SERIOUS?!  U spent $8K for that, when she could have easily went to Alfred Angelo for something very similar for no more than $2,500?!!  But NOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWW you confused and like a pink dress off the rack cuz Gwen Stefani had a pink wedding gown too?!!!!  Girl BYE!

And for some reason the "red" decor is overkill to me for some reason.  I don't know why but it just is...it could be because it was so DARK looking, not ROMANTIC.  Does that make sense??

In any event, I'm gonna give her show 1 more looky and if I'm still feeling the same way - I probably won't watch it until the finale just so I can see how it all turned out.

I watched it and thought that she was way down to earth, not all stuck up and over the top as she appears normally. Melo was kind of mild but what man isn't. I actualy fell asleep on it because it was kind of boring.

Now Fantasia, that was a good show lol.

I felt the same way as the PP. The red decor is overkill... For me, I felt like will they be able to see the table and walls after having some many flowers and other accesories for the reception decor.  Her dress wasn't all that either.  Hell she could have gone to a cahin bridal store and gotten something similar for under 1,000.

Maybe being away from the whole VJ thing has mellowed her out a bit.  Hopefully her show isnt a snooze like the other characters Real and Chance which I think is a COMPLETE WASTE OF AIRTIME!!

@ Prettymami2 - hey lady!  welp that's my little saying for when I'm too threw with someone; it's funny to me how people respond when I say it or type it...according to my GFs, they always tell me it just tickles them to death whenever I say it!

@ shesheduke: it comes on Sunday nights at 10:30 (I guess, that's when it came on yesterday).  I don't know the exact name of the show - something that includes their names though, so you should find it easily. 

@ alf: LOL!  Girl you and I are on the exact same page.  I was getting so irritated w/ her when she was going back and forth between the Vera Wang (boring) dress and the pink dress.  No real reason given about why she was so in love w/ the pink dress - I don't even think it looked that great on her.  I think that was definitely some manufacturered drama to make the show last longer. LOL. 

And you are so right about the all red decor - it looks like a vampire wedding or something.  Just waaaaaay too much red.  I think even the glasses on the tables were tinted red?  Ugh!!! 

Lala seemed to not have a lot to say in general and I know she's trying to build her "brand" but this is a NO MA'AM in my opinion.  I will be tuning in one more time to see, but if it's boring again I will not watch any more. 

@ prettymami - oh yes Fantasia was WAY BETTER than the Lala show.  I love when her Aunt Bunny was like "Girl Please!" when she said her and Antuan were just friends - LOL!!!!

I watched it. The name of the show is LaLa's Full Court Wedding. I wasn't all that excited about it but then again first episodes are usually boring because they try to introduce you to all the characters and do a run down of everything the show is about. And they didn't show her Vera dress yesterday. She didn't try it on in the shop. We have only seen it in glimpses for future episodes.
 Now as for the hot mess that is Fantasia...I did not watch her show and I do not plan to. I'm over her fake ass. Her little "suicide" stunt will be broadcast on the show and as someone who suffers from depression I don't find it any kind of cute that she is using that to get ratings. I no longer support anything she has to offer. Ok, I'm done. I just had to get that off my chest.

You read my mind her Vera looked just like the dress Im eyeing at Alfred Angelo for less than $1k and the red is extreme overkill.

What got me is the pink dress foolishness, you're really trying to  bite Gwen Stefani? *eye roll*
