I hope everybody had a wonderful weekend! How did everyone do last week with weight loss goals? Please share your victories and set backs. Ask any questions or share positive motivation that has worked for you.



Question: When you are craving something? What do you typically do?

    Last week I started Zumba classes at a local dance studio. I had so much fun and I'm surprised I was able to keep up.

    The Brizillian lady teaching the class was in her upper 40s and she had a body like a 20 year old. Watching her alone was extremely motivating.

    I'm currently at the size I want to be I just need to flatten my stomach.

    Answer: I allow myself to have 1 cheat day a week. I won't go crazy but I will let myself enjoy something that is normally a no-no. Now that my body is training I don't have extreme cravings.

     Last week was good. Kept up with Jillian, in level 2..I hate it. LOL, but its such a good workout. I started waking up in the morning and doing her dvd before i go to work.
    This week i'm going to go back to running 3-5 miles because thats whats worked for me. I'm doing an experiement with no carbs and sugar for the week (Lord have mercy on me). I hope the running and my experiment will boost my metabolism.

    Bad week for me - started out good, but then derailed somewhere around Tuesday, and it was all downhill from there. I gained 2 lbs last week :( I've done the Jillian Michaels workout twice and she is not playing! I'll make sure to get my workouts in this week and watch what I eat.

    ok I did pretty good. I worked out with my netflix workout twice and FI and I went to play bball twice this week. Disclaimer: I do not play basketball. I have not played since I was maybe 10. He is out of shape and wants to start back playing soon. So he shot around and I ran to get the rebounds and shot around too. The running to get rebounds was good exercise and as we left the park I had a real sweat.  Also, before we left I ran around the court four times.


    In terms of eating.. I thought I did decent. Weighed in at Weight Watchers today and I gained .4 ( the same .4 I lost last week)

    But I wasn't too upset. I didn't really track my food last week so today I  am on it I want a loss next Monday. Overall I feel GREAT ( even with the gain) I feel lighter, my skin is better, and I am sleeping really good!

    When I crave something sweet I will eat a smaller portion of it or eat fruit or drink juice.

    Ummmm, I totally slacked off last week.  I was bad Tongue out.  I hate the wrong foods and barely worked out, but I promise this week will be better.  Going on to Week/Level 2 with Jillian Michaels today...

    I did Zumba last week for the first time and I loved it! I also went to kick boxing and strength trained twice this week. I have not stepped on the scale again...it will be 3 weeks this Saturday. I HAVE to step on one. I had a busy weekend so yea, i did not get a chance to. I didnt eat the way i should this weekend, I made red velvet cupcakes yesterday and I ate three of them...SMH ( they were the tiny ones but STILL)

    I need to stop playing and get it together. this is so TMI, but I feel so bloated this week, that if I stepped on a scale I might cry!

    I vow to step on the scale this Sat.

    When I am craving something, I eat a small amount of it and I am okay. I usually dont have crazy cravings anymore.

    I was on my cycle, so food was shouting me out everywhere.  Yesterday, my FI and I argued most of the day, so I was eating also.  I will go running today, but I will have to fight hard to stay away from greasy foods because I am too emotional.
