Bridesmaid Drama - Open Floor Discussion

So, it seems like many of us on TK have had some sort of BM drama. One knottie said the better the friend, then the worse she is at being a Bridesmaid. So, why is that ladies? What's your opinion on "what's up with these terrible, bad a**, lack of support Bridesmaid's?

you know why, cuz these B's think "oh well we are cool, we are friends....so i can act just any ol' kinda way" then you gotta end up bein all bridezilla on that @ss and checkin them and it turns all bad.

I dont knw...i do knw some women are jealous or either just not as interested in being a bridesmaid and dont knw how to really tell you...

I was previously married and although i still remained friends with this one girl whom was my bestest friend she just stopped answering her phone calls and guess what i stopped calling and got married without her...however she is the Matron of Honour for this wedding (Gods willing she doesnt do the same thing) but we never discussed what happened or why it happened like it did..,.annd i say all of that to say some women just have their own personal issues so you may never know why they have so much drama...

I can't deal with nobody else attitude and negativity and just by watching say yes to the dress thats all I see from the MOH and BM..thats why I'm not havaing a bridal party and in these 3 weeks i have been in engaged and coming hear and reading the boards and say yes to the dress I don't need that headache or attitude mine is enough

Some people just accept to be nice but don't really wanna do it. I think that the bride has too many expectations on BM also. I'm only planning to be have my sister has my MOH. I have been asked to be in weddings twice but backed out both times. I felt obligated to accept even though I didn't wanna do it.

I think some people cant deal with the thing not being about THEM.  Wth?? Or they feel that it should be made around them.  They think its about wearing a pretty dress and being in some pictures.  It is NOT.  That is the least of it.  They want to impose their dream wedding on your wedding and feel that they should have a vote... NO im the EMPRESS in this thing... if you dont like that get out my kingdom!!

I know that sounded real bridezilla but its me and my FI's day.  if you cant JOIN us, then dont...
