Ok so this is my 5th post...this should keep us busy for a while...lol...

What inspired your wedding colors?

Well It's close to my favorite colors. And it reminds of spring!!

We originally going to have pink and brown, but then we started talking about having a black tie wedding and we couldn't imagine a black tie wedding with pink and brown.  So we changed it to black, white, and pink.  Black and white is obviously classic and we needed an accent color so we decided to keep the pink.

FI originally wanted blue, ivory and silver accents, but he couldn't find a blue he liked. So I chose fall colors burnt orange and chocolate.

believe it or not, these shoes did it for me...for some reason it looked like peach and pink together even though it just pink

The FI selected GUAVA which meant I had to come up with some type of accents. I thought about tropical things like fruits and came up with:

GUAVA, WATERMELON & TANGERINE: I AM CALLING IT TROPICAL ELEGANCE

We chose purple and gray... purple because it looks royal to me and timeless. I originally wanted burnt orange cause its my favorite color and I didn't care if it was June and not fall I wanted that color! But my FSIL and MOH convinced me to change it cause they didn't think it would look good on their darker skin... I think it would have looked fine! But whatever. I love my colors now. The gray came in after seeing a wedding on Essence Bliss(http://photos.essence.com/galleries/bridal_bliss_tiffany_and_daryl_tapp_2#381871)... I fell in love with the look of the gray with the purple. But purple will be the main color all the uplighting and tablecloths and everything! But the flowers for the majority of the centerpieces will  be white... Ok I am typing too much... sorry I am bored at work!

Well he really didn't have ANY say in our colors lolol poor thing. At 1st it was Teal and Brown and Champagne with an accent of mustard yellow but now my colors are totally reflective of the summer season in a fashion forward way.

Coral with accents of Turquoise, Navy and Gold

Now that the Spring/Summer 2011 trends have come out coral is absolutely everywhere which comforts my decision lol

I primarily picked Coral b/c I wanted a color my girls would look ravishing in and imho Coral is SEXY and exudes warmth, lust and luxury so that's why I chose it lol

Black ecru and pink.  We picked invitations before we thought about colors.  He hated everything I liked and I hated everything he liked.  The invitations we selected are a black pocketfold with ecru inserts.  I added a pop of pink to liven things up a bit.  We knew we were on the right track when FMIL said she had to make sure her dress was elegant enough for the wedding.

My venue. My colors were orginally orange and hot pink and the venue was outside, but then we had to move it to a new venue that was indoors and I decided it should then be something softer. My mom and I went to the fabric store and I decided on the bamboo green and ivory.

I let FI choose since i really pick everything else his fav color is red so first it was red and white then i found my dress and it was black and white so now the colors are RED, BLACK, WHITE....

Blue and purple

Blue is his favorite color and one of the colors of my sorority Z-Phi

and purple is my favorite color.

Well, I wanted pink to be incorporated, but my FI said hell naw to that cause pink is my fav color & I got a lot of pink going on at home. So I figured I would give him a break with the pink. I decided to choose a blue color that would look nice on the guys & girls. So I decided to go with Tiffany blue. Then silver is another one of my fav colors. So tiffany blue & silver it was. I added white into the equation later just because.

(GASP) I let FI pick our colors (black, burgundy and white) he says he likes them but I have a sneaking suspicion that he just picked Carolina Gamecocks (his fave team) colors.

My colors are teal, cream and champagne.

I chose teal because of this HOT peacock inspired shoe. Everything else kind of just went together.

My colors are Burnt orange and chocolate brown with gold and red accents. I am on the line of summer and fall and FI is my lil chocolate drop and loos awesome in brown.  I love our colors and I so just told him they were the colors and because he loves me he agreed

My colors are turquoise and orange and I love bright colors. We are getting married on the beach so I think it is a great color combo for the beach theme and I must say that the great ladies on the board help me narrow it down!! You ladies rock!!!
