I need a book!

Anybody reading a good book or read a good book lately? I haven't read anything since The Help, this past summer.  Although, in the small amount of leisure time I have, I know I should be doing something wedding related, but I really don't feel like it.  Instead, I feel like reading a good book while sipping on a nice glass of wine Laughing.  So what do you ladies recommend as a good book to read?

I loved The Help! Nicholas Sparks has some good romance books.  I've been into career books lately lol I just finished Knowing Your Value: Women, money and getting what you want and now I'm on 21 indisputable characteristics of leaders by John Maxwell.  This isn't everybodys thing though... If you like historical fiction I just finished Cleopatra's Daughter and really liked it. I'm always looking for good books though, so if you know of others let me know!

Waiting to Exhale has a part 2, by Terry Mcmillan it is set to 15years later and is very good right from the beginning!

What kind of books do you read?  The 5 languages of love is really good.

I just finished heaven is for real. Nice, easy read. Only about 150 pages. I've heard good things about the help and the love dare. Mitch album has good meaningful books too. They are also short. We passed Jenna Jameson's book around our tour bus (the adult film star). Now, that's not my thing but the book was very good, to me. Her life was very interesting.

Thanks for the suggestions ladies!  I went to the bookstore today and picked up The Space Between Us by Thrifty Umrigar.  While googling online I saw that if you liked The Help, then you're enjoy reading this book.  So I thought I give it a try.

djscat:  One of my good friends also recommended and told me a little about The 5 Languages of Love.  I might add that to my list as well.

japonica:  Waiting to Exhale, Part 2 might be interesting.  I wonder if there will be a movie, hopefully so!
