BM Vent

So I am down another bridesmaid....SMH. Not sure if anyone remembers but a few months ago one of my BM's (my sister) dropped out of the wedding for some ridiculous reasons the day before we went dress shopping. So today I receive a text from another BM saying do I have anyone in my family that I want as a BM because they can have her dress because she is unable to attend the "scheduled events". I'm not even upset I kind of saw it coming so I started out with 5 now I'm down to 3. God knows what's best, just wanted to vent.

WOW!!! so sorry!! and so dang close to the wedding date! why can't she make it to the "scheduled events"? I'll come be in your wedding lol! I'm inviting myself to EVERYBODY wedding with my +5 guests and my cat. what's wrong with these bm's and invites? The grooms don't seem to have these problems!

I'm sorry hun...think of it this way she just saved you money. You don't have to pay for her bouquet, her food at the wedding, or her bridal party gift. I started out with 6 and ended up with 3. It hurts but at the end of the day you want ppl who want to be there up there at the alter with you and your hubby. Not the wannabees.

Totally agree with ameera. I started with 5 and now only have 2. This is how I originally visioned it anyway. God knows what he's doing. Just sit back and relax. Watch our daddy work. HE got you! HE has a plan.

Geez what type of events couldn't she do? These BM get me with the dropping out. I'd be the type once I paid for my dress I'm in it for the long haul! I hope it ends up being a blessing on your end.

At least she was gracious enough to offer up her dress and tell you in advance without you kicking her out! Count the blessings!

Awww, I'm sorry to hear this hun.. I don't know what's wrong with these ladies... They seem to forget the meaning of a BM. everything will work out.. Keep up your positive attitude..
