Where can I use this song?

I really want to use Shekinah Glory's How Deeply I Need You in my wedding ceremony. Of course the version I really lke is almost 10 mins long. I know I don't have to use the whole song. The problem is I can't figure out what's the best place for this song. Prayer, lighting of unity candles (i feel the time is not long enough for that), mother's entrance, wedding party processional, my entrance??? The issue I have with my entrance is that I don't want anyone to construe the meaning of the song and think that I'm talking about How Deeply I need my FI when the song is ultimately about God. Any ideas, suggestions, or should I just not use the song at all? Thanks in advance!

Also, here is the link to the song if anyone is interested in hearing it :)

Wow that song is AWESOME. I could see it being used at the very beginning when your family enters (grandparents, parents, etc.). But with it being 10 minutes long I'm not sure if any one part of the wedding will be that long for you to get the whole song in. I guess it just depends on how you are doing things. In my friend's wedding she had a distinct "pause" where they had people sing so it would be similar to playing a song.

If you're having a unity candle/sand ceremony, the song can be played then. The song may need to be shortened tough.

If you want the entire song to play, then maybe play in during the prelude (when your guests are entering)

This.  I am having a list of gospel songs played while the guests will be arriving.  I want the atmosphere to be set and the anointing to enter in from the very beginning.

    I agree

We will have a Sand Ceremony and we plan to play "more than anything" by Lamar Campbell.

I walked down the aisle so fast(hehe) that my song still had another minute, so the coordinator just cut it down(more like turn the volume down). I also thought about this song and was going to do it for the groom, gm, parents, and bm entrance but changed my mind.

I love this idea. I have never thught about this at all. I have been to weddings where you are waiting for them to start and all you hear is silent or a little talking. Will you have the songs stop for a few minutes to signal everyone you are about to start?

Ah!! Thanks Cat!! This is my intention as well . It never crossed my mind to play it during this time!! I don't know why I was thinking just instrumental music during this time.

Yeah I had that same thing in mind when deciding to set the atmosphere. This is a sacred time for FI and I and I want to set the atmosphere. Good idea about the pause. I hadn't thought about that either. However I was planning on using Joe Pace's Welcome Into this Place to signify the beginning of the ceremony.. Which I guess would technically be the beginning of the prelude. I was thinking perhaps 20 mins or so before the ceremony was to begin and then going directly into the ceremony. But I've also found that in the weddings I've attended that did that I always missed the entrance of the mothers or didn't realize they were coming in because the music was still playing and I assumed it was still the prelude. So the momentary pause would be great to prepare for the mother's entrance.

lol! :) You were happy!! :) That'll probably be me as well! May I ask what changed your mind about it? I thought about it for the groom's entrance as well and figured it was too long for such a brief entrance.
