Guest Book Pens

What are you girls using for your guest book pens? How many are you setting out?

What hubs and I did was get a guestbook without lines, that way people could write messages if they wanted (we put engagement prints in different spots on the pages to make it interesting). We got a set of sparkly markers at Impress at Bellevue Square (they were $32, but worth it - even though I didn't get them all back, still miffed about that). They had 12 colors. :) HTH!

Oooh good question! I hadn't even thought about that yet. We aren't doing a traditional guest book. We decided to do some small pieces of decorative paper/card stock for people to write their congrats, advice, etc. Then we are going to scrap book them (my Mom is a huge scrap booker). I love the idea of the metalic pens. If you are doing a traditional guest book or the large picture frame mat, I would put out 3-6 permanent pens of the same color....just in case a few pens accidently walk away. If it's a traditional guestbook only one person can be writing at a time anyway right?Personally I don't know that I would buy anything super fancy or special. Just decent looking normal pens.

I've been thinking about getting something like this - from etsy seller JustPens.

We did a shutterfly book with a light background and an e-pic on every other page and had thick and thin sharpies in our colors.  People loved it. They wrote notes, drew pictures, left advice and made comments about the pictures.
