Remember to send your vendors TY notes

My photographer said our weddings pictures will take 8 weeks, so I sent him a ty card a few weeks ago and got my pictures 2 weeks early.  Since you already have to send out cards for guests, just remember your vendors. I thanked a few that I felt went above and beyond: photographer, doc, and makeup artist and my chapel location manager who allowed us to use the chapel 1/2 hr early without charging us additional money.

I did the same thing. I sent them to all my vendors they all responded letting me know if I ever need anythign else they will make it happen with discounts. I thought most people did this but I guess not. Do it ladies it really pays off plus its nice.

I enclosed the TY notes with the payments that were distributed on site.  They were short and sweet notes, but they were included in the envelopes on our wedding day. My mom kept asking me what I was so pressed to print the night before the wedding, but I had bought special paper for the vendor notes and wanted them to look nice.

We did this too, but we gave it to them with the final payments. We had extra favors left over and gave it to the vendors along with the thank you notes.

My mom just told me that she saw that our florist still has our favor on display with the pictures we sent her when she went to the shop to order the centerpieces for Thanksgiving day. So this goes to prove that the thank you's do mean a lot to the vendors!

I didn't send any TY notes to our vendors, they didn't do anything above and beyond, one less thing for me to do. 

Definitely send them if you feel they did an awesome job.
