location reviews?

does anyone have any reviews or opinions about Blue Ribbon Cooking School? We are changing our venue due to budget(we were planning on the Woodmark in bellevue), and wanted to see what anyone had heard about it?  Thanks!

    I'm getting married there this Saturday and can let you know after I"m back from my honeymoon, but everything so far has been great :)

    I'm getting married at Blue Ribbon in February. So far I have had a great experience with my planner (which comes with the venue), and the rest of the staff. Not to mention the food is AMAZING! Whenever I mention I'm having my wedding at Blue Ribbon to other vendors, they always have great things to say.HTH!

    how are you two setting up your reception tables? i cant find many pictures for blue ribbon to get ideas on setting up tables and the such, do they have certain ways to set everything up? TIA!

    They do. I don't know the details of your wedding but mine is in February and is small, around 50-55 people. They have several set ups; ceremony outside, ceremony inside on the stage, or inside in the bar area. Reception I believe is inside only, as the outdoor areas wouldn't be large enough for tables. Because my wedding is so small, I'm doing round tables, 5 or 6, in the area with the stage. We are setting up the bar area as a lounge type with sofas and chairs. They also have a deck/patio that can be covered and they have heaters they can set out if needed for people to hang out during the reception. If you go in to meet with the they will tell you all their options. They have been really, really great. I have a diagram of our set up, I can send you. I also took a few pics while I was there last if you would like me to email them to you. Just let me know. :)

    d_smith, we are looking at doing the ceremony outside, then moving inside for the reception.  our wedding is about the same size as yours, 55-60 ppl, and we wanted to do round tables, but the only pics i could find for them were the ones on their site of the long tables.  The lounge area is a great idea, and if you could send me the pics and overview of your set up that would be great, thanks!  email at txcowgirl_8202@yahoo.com

    I'll send it tonight!. I don't think I have pics of the round tables, but I'll be going there on the 23rd and I'll take pics of my mocked up table. :)
