Please ladies, help with opinions, suggestions, advise on these: ( we will have up to 4 guests - parents with teenagers children)  in some household..if that helps)Thank you.

I would do something like this just so they know its not an open invitation to bring as many guest as they want. The only down side is you would have to customize them per household instead of having on general RSVP card for everyone.

Mine will be very specific.... customized with the guest(s) name(s).  I can't stand the thought of RSVP drama!

My rsvp is like Sim's. Can you afford to go over your numbers? If not, I would put how many seats reserved.

 I thought of going that route but some people say , when you do it like that and 

Mrs Joh smith cannot come with Mrs Jane Smith , He thinks he's still have the right to bring a guest ( a friend  ) since 2 seats have been reserved to him anyway !

Maybe you can request that guests put their names (and not initials) for the meal option. That way if there is an unfamiliar name listed, you'll know.

But I agree with putting the # of seats reserved.
