??Fairy Wands??

I was browsing a wedding magazine and I saw a picture of flower girls with a flower arrangement called a "fairy wand."... Have any of you seen this idea used before in a wedding? I'm looking for non-petal tossing cute budget ideas for flowers for flower girls. Any ideas you have are welcome and appreciated!

I want to make my flower girl a pomander with fake flowers... but I'm not sure how budget friendly that's going to be... So I may make a ribbon one. She's not tossing petals either. In fact, she probably won't even walk down the aisle as she'll be 1 and a half, but I want her to stand out as the "flower girl" and not just some baby.

Oooh I didn't even think of a ribbon pomander! Fabulous idea! Our flower girls are our niece who will be 3 and FI's kid sis who will be 8. Do you have any good links to ribbon pomanders by chance?
