Ahhh! Thank You Notes...

Hey Ladies,

I have TERRIBLE handwriting so I wanted to do something printed, but etiquette dictates that the notes be handwritten. But, I have a website that prints silver ink on a beautiful red cloth for thank you notes. AND they'll match my invitations. If I order them to be printed -in the fancy way-, are they still a "no-no"?

TIA

Honesty, I would rather have a nice printed whatever than something that I can't really read (not saying your handwriting is that bad). As long as the message is unique to each person and not something that was copy and pasted to each card I dont see the problem.

ditto!! as long as it is personalized. Can each one be different OR can you have a general message and handwrite the name on the top and add a few words at the bottom to let them know its persaonal.

Would the message be specific to each person and their gift? If so, it's fine. If not, please pass. I received an invitation that was beautifully printed and very generic...the only reason I wasn't "feeling some type of way" is because it was a close friend of mine and she included a picture of the two of us from the reception. Besides, I gave cash so I know it was appreciated. Some people may have been offended though. Just something to consider.

You know, I hate that stupid rule. I say do whatever you're comfortable with. as long as you personalize the note for each guest I don't see the big deal.

I printed thank you cards in our wedding colors, but each card was personalized.
