Is your cat Angie a mainecoon?  I had two growing up and they are awesome.  My one just had to be put down recently and she was about 25 yrs old!

Oh my goodness I was so excited to see my name! lol! As far as I know she HAS to be at least part mainecoon. My friend got her for me from someone her family knew with cats that they wouldn't get fixed and so their were hundreds of cats EVERYWHERE (you know nasty sad people) anywho... that means I really have no clue but she looks just like one hair wise, but is much smaller and lighter. Beau my siamese is much heavier then she is (and he's only 3) Holy Cow! 25 is OLD! I hope my baby girl lives to be an old lady, she's only 6 now.

The wispy hair around the face makes me think there's some Maine Coon.  And I love Siamese cats-- always makes me think of Lady and the Tramp, but I'm sure your cat isn't evil like that, right :). Our cat used to follow us outside growing up.  We got her as a stray when I was like 7 and she lived well through my college years, and was still going strong a few years after I graduated .  She had the best temperment.
