I'm one of those girls. I was able to order my dress as a "petite" (even though I'm 5'6") which means it will be the right length for me to wear it with 2" heels with no alterations. Which means, I've been on the search for 2" heels. I also wanted shoes that I could dye, so they'd be green! Well, I may have found some! I had Wednesday off, so I went down to South Center to run all kinds of errands. I really liked theHjortens shoes, so I actually did set foot in the dreaded David's Bridal. The girl that helped me was very kind & actually helpful, and I found some really cute shoes! Not the ones I was looking for, but cute, dyeable, 2" heeled shoes. The style is "Martina". I cannot find a pic online, but they were cute & pretty comfortable. I just may end up ordering them. I can't remember who was looking for 2" plum-colored shoes, but there is a plum color dye for those shoes. HTH someone!

I might have to check it out. I need 2" shoes, I think, based on the hem to hollow measurement we did. I'm just waiting to get my dress in and find out since it's going to need a fair amount of alterations that may impact that.

You might also try Payless Shoe Source. They have a nice selection of dyable shoes (if you go to the larger stores). They range from all different heights and all different styles.
