***Cincy***

I'm sorry the shoes won't work for you.  I forgot that your dress was white.  I was actually thinking about getting them for myself, but the gold buckle won't work.  My jewelry is silver.  The shoes are cute though.  No, I didn't talk to a cobbler about my shoes yet.  I'm going to wait to try them on with my dress before checking into shortening the height of the heel.  It may not be necessary.  A part of me still kinda want a kitten heel though.  Aren't sky + Carla fabulous!!!!  I soooooo wish I could afford them.  There was a knottie on here that hired them.  Her pictures were absolutely beautiful.  Check out her engagement session:

I hope you and FI had a great weekend.  Oh!  How did your interview go?

Wow, thanks for the link to the e-pics, they are amazing!!!

Thanks so much for asking about the interview - it went really well!  They are wanting to fill this particular position before I can move (due to my graduation date in May) but they want me to stay close and they will recommend me for others that come up.  I'm actually in Tampa today about to go on another interview!  My life is soooo hectic right now!  :)

Hope all is well with you - sounds like wedding planning has been pretty smooth for you lately?

No, wedding plans are not necessarily going smoothly, I've been a slack azz about it, and I'm in total denial of how much crap needs to get accomplished.  I have some kind of mental block with these invitations.  I just really don't feel like doing them.  Well, actually the latest big hold up is that I don't know what time to put on the invitations because while I would like for everything to get started at 2:00pm I just learned that my planner will need to start setting up 2 hours before the wedding , but the earliest time that I reserved the space was noon, so then she'll still be setting up when the guest arrive if that's the case.  So, I'm trying to reach the venue manager to see if the planner/DOC can get into the venue earlier.  Otherwise I'll have to push the time back.  So, we'll see.  I did get some things checked off this weekend though, and I do feel pretty good about that, but these invitations must get mailed out next week.  I will hopefully get together with a couple of bridesmaids and FI's aunt at the end of the month to work on some DIY projects.  I paid everything off except for the food and parent gifts, so that's a good feeling.  I'm waiting on my dress.  I think I may get a bustle put in.  We'll see.

Best of luck to you on the interview.  Please keep me informed of how everything turns out.  It sucks that you could not have accepted the other job.

Tam, sorry it took so long to respond - I just got back home from the airport.  Sorry to hear about the dilemma on the start time.  Hopefully the venue will work with you.  When FI and I were with our caterer doing our final tasting, they told us that the Event Manager we worked with at our venue left (actually got fired) and now there's someone new.  It's a little scary that we didn't hear from the museum about that, but the caterer said it's a good thing b/c the new guy is much nicer and more flexible.  So that said, hopefully your venue manager will be flexible also!

Did you get the envelopes for the invitations yet?  I'm glad you found them and hopefully got them for a reasonable price!

Congrats on the checks from this weekend and also on paying off some of your vendors!!  I can't wait to do that as well - we have signed our contracts for the photog and videog and will mail in the contracts and deposits this week...so those are my major checks!

Re: the interview.  My FI has a contact at the company I interviewed with in Cincy last week, and they know the two people who interviewed me.  This friend of his emailed him today to tell him how impressed they were with me and how they want to find something for me there, so that was exciting.  My interview today went extremely well - the woman told me she "liked me" like 4x during the interview - LOL!  We did get along well and she was talking very specifically about when I could start, that she was going to talk to HR about whether a start date in July would be an issue, etc.  So it sounds very promising - this is also a work-from-home job, which I would love!  I'll keep you updated...thanks for asking!
