Are you/did you have a soloist? If so what are/did they sing??

At first my FH was opposed to having a singer. He says he's a simple man and didn't want a long drawn out ceremony. After weeks of pouting +0 I've gotten my way and now with 3 weeks left Im scrabbling trying to figure out what song I want her to sing... I love When God gave me you on TD Jakes Sacred Songs album but I hate they verse when he talks about "creeping" not something I really want to discuss in the ceremony...then I thought about honoring our grandmothers whom can not attend by doing a mix of they're favorite gospel songs...but THOSE ARE DEPRESSING!! And now I need help!!

    You can still have your soloist sing your song and have him skip the verse you don't like.

    I sang born for this by bebe winans at a wedding last year and I believe in you and me by whitney houston (that was a long time ago.) I recently heard "the prayer/ the lord's prayer at 2 weddings.

    I am having a soloist for the Lords prayer and another one to sing "the one he kept for me" by Maurette Brown Clark for my entrance.

    My MOH is going to sing a version that she had remixed of 'Without Love' by Stacie Orrico and we are having someone else sing The Lord's Prayer.
