Website viewer tracker

My website viewer tracker says that 155 viewers have looked at my website. Does anyone know if it tracks how many people view it from different IP addresses or does it count every time it is viewed even if it is from the same computer. I'm curious if 155 different people looked or the same people looked multiple times?

I think it counts every time someone views. So, one person could have looked 10 times and it would count it 10 times. And I also think it counts when you view it.

Exactly! With mine, it counts the number of times each page (tab) is viewed as well. So if 1 person viewed a page and went back to it before leaving the site, it would count as 2 views.

With my wedding wedding website it counts both. It gives a number for views and a number for diffferent visitors.
