My FI and I have decided on colors (crimson, cream, and black); however, we do not have a theme. Because we are requesting help with decorations, we want to have a theme so that people won't just buy everything that has one or all of those colors. Any suggestions about themes would be useful. Thanks!

    Not sure about the theme, but maybe you can have a meeting with the people who are helping with the decorations to show them the vision you and your FI are trying to achieve. Start looking through magazines and searching online for pics of things you like.

    I think even if they know your theme it may not come together as you and FI's vision because everyone has their own personal taste. Can you maybe shop together?

    I was told you don't need an actual theme just a few ideas that are elegantly incorporated. We decided on not having a theme but we are incorporating dbl hearts, mini roses, ribbon and silver accents. You have chosen a beautiful color scheme, now just think of how you want it to look.
