Is anyone doing this for the out-of-towners? what are you including?

I plan to. Will include a note from us, brochures for local attractions and activities, map, pack of gum and or candy, packet of tissue, something significant to our city.

I think I will wait to see how many people are actually staying at the hotel we have a room block at. For those of you doing the welcome bags, could you also tell/show what you are using for the actually bag?

I plan to use just plain gift bags. I'll do the bags and tissue paper in our colors. Like silver bag yellow tissue or vice versa.

My welcome bags were 99 cent bags from party city. The bag contained plantain chip, tres leches cookies, 2 bottles of water and a welcome note. The note had places to visit in the city. I had a destination wedding so I wanted to give them things to help the bc familiar with the culture

I am!! This is one detail I'm really excited about! Lol I'm including a newsletter with information about wedding invites directions etc. also a lot about what to do in the area water bottles with personalized labels w/ our names. Got them off of etsy, really cute I'm probably going to get those snack packs from like sams throw in some cheezits etc. also adding things related to Kansas City where our wedding ex: small bottle of our favorite Kc BBQ, Russell stovers candybased there we are also adding things from where we are from too. I grew up in Houston so I'm doing a pack of Texas chili and I may throw in a Budweiser since FI is from st.louis.

We are doing this!

The bags will be on our wedding colors ( ex: blue w. pink tissue paper)- Still seciding on those.... and inside will be

1. Map of the Atlanta area (World of Coke, Aquarium, Atlantic Station, etc) and othe quick trip places 

2. Information about Rehersal Dinner, Map to church, and my parents home and  Morning After Brunch Info, and emergency contact info.

3. Photo of FI and I 

4. Little goodies: Peanuts, small bottle of coke, peach candy, popcorn, and small bottle os water with names

I have been getting the 4 pack of canvas bags from michaels. I'm gonna include some sight seeing info of savannah. Some water, coca cola, and snacks. Letter from us. Maybe a handheld fan and sun block

also, our wedding is in Houston, and I think it's rodeo weekend! Should be plenty for guests to do.

<div>Here is the etsy vendor I went through for my water labels. I highly recommend him! He also can do matching stickers for the welcome bags, so if you get the plan bags, you can throw a sticker on them too. </div><div>
