Help: 1st Dance Selection

I need help, ladies! I only want one song for our 1st dance. But I can't choose between these two. Why?

The Maxwell song somewhat entails a phase FI and I say to each all the time (wherever, whatever, forever). It has helped us keep things in perspective. I thought it was going to be the procession song, then I found something else. I like hearing the strings in this version opposed to the LP version.

I love jazz and my fav jazz artist is John Coltrane. This song is featured in my fav movie, Love Jones. Jazz is the one musical style FI & I connect on. I thought it would be our 1st song because we have a jazz/R&B band playing at the reception and would stay in the music style of the band. Maybe the band could even play it!

I love me some Maxwell! But unless your version of this song is a little more upbeat than the original...(sorry, can't open Youtube at work). I selected your second choice. I would practice dancing each song with FI and see which one feels right to you.

i'm not a 'trane head but and however, In a Sentimental Mood is one of my top 5 favorite songs of ever.    love both of your selections but I couldn't vote because I thinking how challenging each might be to dance to, even with very little movement, they're incredibly intimate, but, cosby show aside, dancing to em may put ya'll to the test.   which do you like better?

that maxwell song is my ISH! I voted for that one. If i were at your wedding reception i would definitely cry. Can you play the jazz during dinner? or when you walk down the aisle?

I looked right at them and voted for In A Sentimental Mood... I LOVE that!!! And it completely takes me to Love Jones!

But now your choice is tough because the vote is tied... Maybe you can dance to Wherever, Whenever, Whatever as your last dance song??
