I need help from Chicago Brides

So, FI & I are having a thurs wedding and were not planning on honeymooning.  But, today we discussed a mini-moon.  the brunch is done at 330.... we could catch a 7pm flight & hit up CHI-TOWN  for 2-3 days.....

I need some reccomendations for what to do, where to go, where to stay, where NOT to stay.   Any help would be appreciated

  • Yay Chi town! I'm not from there but it's my fav city. That's where I'm doing my bachelorette weekend. Yes Navy Pier is romantic. Shopping downtown on Michigan ave. Sears tower, milinium park has concerts outdoors, outdoor movies on the mile, they have a beach too! There's also casinos within driving distance.

  • I love Chicago! Look up The Affinia. That's where I stayed the last time I was there, just a block over from Michigan Ave. My favorite restaurants there are Ni9e Steakhouse and Wildfire. Navy Pier is very romantic as PP's have mentioned. If you like tourist stuff then you could go to the Sears/Willis Tower observatory, John Hancock observatory, or there's a bunch of museums, and an aquarium. There is a lot to do in chicago!
