XP: Question about card/paper stock

Hi Ladies..I posted this on the invitation board, but I thought you ladies may be able to help me as well.
 
The vendor I am using for all of my stationery sent me a sample packet. All of the samples she sent me (invitations, STDs, menu cards, etc) are all on this glossy like paper. For inviations, I am looking for a more 'formal' cardstock. Does this particular type of paper have a name?

I know I can ask her about this, but I am attempting to send her an email to request this and I want to know a bit about what I'm talking about so I can discuss this with her.

    I'm using metallic cardstock. I think it has a really "formal" feel. I got some glossy samples also, but preferred the samples that I received on the metallic cardstock so we went with that. Hope this helps.

    thank you! I think if the snow clears up tomorrow, I'm going to try and go to like Kinkos are something and see what I can figure out.
