THE WEDDING DAYI tossed and turned for hours that night. Going to sleep became a chore vs. something i eased into. My husband called me at 3am just wanting to talk about how happy he was that this day was finally here and how utterly happy he was to be able to call me his wife in a few hrs. Well 2.5hrs later i had to wake my niece up bc she had to go get her hair done so needless to say, i was up! I took the ride with my mom and sister and went to the food store to get some brunch items, and then to the bank {needed cash for tips} and then by the time we got back home {8am} one of my bm's was there waiting for the hair stylist to come for the 1st appt. It was happening, my wedding day was here!
I showered, put my bridal tank on and just truly enjoyed that morning with my girls. We ate, drank mimosas, gave toasts, laughed and just had an amazing bonding time. Cried like a baby during certain toasts as well.
Hair and Makeup arrived and everything went smoothly. When I tell you my girls looked good THEY LOOKED GOOOOODDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD i was super happy with how elegant, refined, romantic and gorgeous they were.
Our personal flowers arrived and I balled like a baby again. The vision was coming to life and things had been executed as planned!!!! My bouquet was divine ladies...wait until you see it!
Originally we planned on doing a 1st look in a garden/mansion but I got married on the hottest day of the year and my DH called me to tell me "babe it's not looking like the business right now, we're going to melt" surprisingly i said "ok let's just go to the venue and do it" and didn't sweat it b/c i wasn't one to battle mother nature that day.
All of a sudden time sped up, my photographer, videographer were there and it was time to get "gwenyth" on! I came down the stairs with everyone waiting and all i heard were sniffles and giggling and wonderful comments on how amazing they thought i looked. I saw my MIL there and she started crying so of course so did i. It was time to GO!!!!!
We left into the party bus and it was HOT IN THERE...NOPE NO AC...IT WAS BROKEN....so we rode the whole way there in the heat!!!! We were eating ice chips, fanning ourselves. my matron of honor nearly fainted and sweat was just everywhere. thankfully my dh called and harassed them so we shall be receiving something back.
We arrived and it was time to see my husband. He looked so amazing, i loved everything he wore. He wore this customized reversible bow tie and looked so dapper. He coulldn't stop smiling when he saw me, he was in awe. We took some private shots had a moment and kept on taking pics. it was so awesome to do it that way ladies, i highly recommend it!!!!!
the ceremony was so gorgeous! personal meaningful and emotional. it was the highlight of the day for me. we did have quite a big processional and i stood all the way in the back and once i heard Teddy P "my latest greatest inspiration" i lost it!!!! Then John Legend "so high" played and my bridesmaids walked in and i lost it again and then it was time for me to walk in, my dad came to get me {after escorting my mom down} and he started crying just looking at me get ready to take this walk. I walked down the aisle to "still in love" by Beyonce and it was so magical. As soon as I walked in i heard someone say "OMG DO YOU SEE HER MY LORD SHE'S A BEAUTY" and i looked up and saw my dh and everything was ok in my world again.
fast forward~~~~~~~~~~~~~
