Card Box

Where have you ladies purchased your card boxes from? I tried to DIY one but it was pretty much an expensive failure, LOL, so I just want to buy one!

I've tried searching on etsy but allll the ones I've seen are just too much for a cardbox!

First let me say- We are on a STRICT budget. I got mine on Craigslist for $15 and I couldnt be HAPPIER. It's beautiful!

Yes! very cute. I agree...all the ones on Etsy are waaaay over priced. Have you tried to make one with wrapping paper. I saw a tutorial that seemed fairly easy...BUT, I have not tried it to say for sure if it is easy or not.

lol! don't give up!! seriously try craigslist! or they got them ones at micheals. I think they're $40 or $50 and if you print 50% off coupon you can get a deal.

I made my card box with wrapping paper. If you go this route, I would suggest using square boxes. I used round boxes and it came out uneven.

Also, I saw boxes at Hobby Lobby that already had designs printed on them that were about $5-10 for different sizes. If they have a design that you like you could stack those yourself.

I went on orientaltrading.com, and bought a birdcage card holder. It was white so I had to spray it the color that I wanted, and then put ribbon whatever else I wanted on there.. but it was worth the $25 ($18 for the cage, and $7 for all the other materials).
