Remember that thread that you had posted all those "things to do" in Seattle? Idk what happened to that thread but it just.. disappeared and I was so bummed because I didn't get a chance to save the list!!

My Fiance's birthday is next week so we are celebrating it this Saturday and I want to find a cool swanky place for dinner, as well as a couple other ideas for lunch and things to do maybe... I want it a full day or Seattle awesomeness

arg... None of these seem to be near pike place.. which is what I was hoping for ... My uncle suggested Lacosho as it's one of his accounts (he's a wine guy) but it doesn't look swanky enough for what I am wanting..

I don't know if you would consider it "swanky," but the food was yummy, the restaurant pleased DH's picky/snobby grandma, and it is right by Pike Place.

I have heard fun thngs about the Pink Door, but htat seems more like fun for a girl's night out, rather than a 29 year old man's birthday dinner? lol
Yeah we like the Steelhead Diner, but I want a place he has never been.. I was hoping for something like Lark near Pike Place.. maybe I'm being too picky />_<

I would check out the pink door. On certain nights they do a burlesque show so I'm sure your hubby would enjoy that and it's tasteful. Also on various nights I believe they have like a trapeze act kind of thing going on above your heads while your eating dinner. It's a fun date night place.
