Aisle - Pic

I was going back and forth about having an aisle runner.  I think I want a plain aisle runner with rose petals on each side.  Something like this clicky. Instead of purple the petals will be red.  I may not have the  bouquet of flowers on the side.  I am thinking about getting an aisle runner like this clicky.  Is anyone else getting a runner?  Any concerns about tripping?  Also if I do a look like this I guess the entire wedding party will be walking on it coming down the aisle not just me.  What do you think?

I'm having an aisle runner and it will have our custom monogram on it. I will also have a mix of monochromatic pink petals lining the sides.

I am debating about an aisle runner for many reasons of which one is tripping down the aisle.  However, I as the floors in my venue are marble I am also concerned about sliding.  LOL!  In my design proposal right now is a customized aisle runner with petals on the sides and floral pew decor.  The pic below is what I gave to my designer to model after.  If I remove the runner I will still have the petals on the sides and the floral decor.

FI and I went to venue today to meet about the cake. While I was there I made sure putting down rose petals wouldn't be a problem. The lady at the venue told me it wouldn't be a problem but asked if she could give me her personal opinon. I told her yes. She said she wouldn't do an aisle runner because she has seen so many people trip and/or fall. So now I have decided not to do a runner. I don't want to take that chance of me or one of my BMs falling.

We re doing an isle runner just like the one you posted w/ the petals on the side in reds, yellows and oranges (fall colors to match the girls bouquets) and we are having an M made out of flowers in the center of the aisle like the above picture.

there are side aisles at our church so everyone will enter in the side aisles and our wedding party will walk down the side aisles and meet each other in the front. My mom and I (she is walking me down) will be the only ppl to walk on it until after the ceremony

Im not understanding the tripping and falling..........are they not taping down the aisle runner so that it wont bunch up or anything when walking on it?
