shower gifts

I have 6 girls on my side... and they are all 'hosting'. The shower is being held at one of their parents' houses...

Who do I give the gift to? And what do I give? I was thinking about a gift certificate to the parents and maybe giving the hoodies to the girls?? Or do you think I should wait until the RD for the hoodies?

Give the hoodies at the shower. :) Then you're shower gift is taken care of! And since you're planning on doing bracelets or something else for them, you can give them that at the RD.

I just bought a group gift. For my family one I bought a bottle of champaign for them all the share and a nice card. For my friend one I bought them a mini nail polish (in wedding colors) and a travel sized lotion. Cost was about ten dollars a person. I would save the hoodies for the RD, unless you have another gift to give them.

I say give them the hoodies for the shower hostess gift - that way they might even be able to wear the hoodies at the RD depending on dress code for RD. :)

when i asked one of my moh's who was hosting she said why? and i told her becuase i need to figure it out so i can give gifts and she says gifts aren't necessary. i told her that i wanted them to know how much i appreciate that they are throwing me a shower and she said.. we don't need a gift to tell us that.. but a gift card for my bms parents would be nice.

next question, how much should i give them? $50-100?

I think 50 is good. I'm working on this too! My shower is next Sat! Thanks for the reminder!

I say $50.  I'm sure they understand you have expenses, so $50 gift card for their home (i.e. Bed Bath & Beyond or Macys) and a nice TY card would be good.

Gift card to where? I would suggest nice place for dinner, in which case I would say $50-75 depending on the place.

I've been thinking about this too.  MOH didn't do thank you gifts when I hosted her shower (at my house, but all us BMs hosted).  I will still do thank you gifts for them though, because I do truly appreciate it!  I'm glad you posted this because I needed ideas!
