30 day shred day 8

Yes! I am still on it! I graduated to level 2 yesterday because level 1 wasnt making me sweat anymore. I cant tell if I lost any weight b/c 1 i dont own a scale (I dont want to know how much i weigh) and 2 I am bloated. So we will see next week if I lost any weight. But one thing is for sure, my endrance level is way up.

    Thats so great Desi ! I plan on starting next week. I cant wait ! Do you do yours in the morning or the evening. I trying to figure out a schedule.

    3rd, i was all set to start on Friday and had to stay in bed with the usual stupid migraine UGH
    I want to start tonight but afraid the headache will come back
    So when are you going to level 2?

    welp I am also continuing with the 30 Day Shred DVD...our group started on Level 2 and Jillian is on some serious stuff y'all - I mean I think this chica is on DRUGS cuz she is crazy (but in a good way)...the workout is for 20 mins but it's the LONGEST 20 MINS OF YOUR LIFE and YOU WILL BE SWEATING LIKE YOU WERE WORKING OUT FOR 2 HOURS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I forgot to weigh myself last Monday when when we started so I'll weigh today, I'm more into inches than weight loss anyway so it's no biggie and then I'll weigh & measure myself next month.

    Keep it up Desi!  And I too love your i-board but of course you knew I would...LOL!Wink

    Pasma - whenever you feel better, try to start doing the DVD on Level 1; the Endorphins you get from working out will probably help ease your migrain headaches.

    KSturgis - for me, it works better to work out at lunch because I'm not a morning person and when I get home working out is the LAST thing I wanna do...but alot of the ladies I work with perfer to work out in the evenings, HTH!

    So proud of you girl!   I've been so lazy about my weight this summer. It seems like we're at a wedding or some event every weekend so we stay eating. I'm honestly considering jumping on your "Shred" bandwagon soon. Thanks for the inspiration!

    Yay Desi! I'm glad this is going well for you. Same to you Alf! Kudos!

    I started the shred...I actually mix it in with the gym, but have decided to do it almost daily in addition to my gym routine rather than in place of it. I am on day 3...last night was better than the first night and I hope that tonight will be better than last. I am just trying to lose inches and firm up some areas although I started out counting pounds. I am on a high and have been in a much better mood since I've been eating better and working out in some way every day...except Fridays...that's my off day.

    Way to go everyone!
    I did it last summer and loved it. School starts soon (Cry) so I will lose my morning cardio classes at the gym. I think I'm going to start it again w/ the new school year.

    I would suggest that you take your measurements (even if you've already started) because you will probably see more of a difference in inches lost/how clothes fit as opposed to actual lower numbers on the scale. (That's what I've seen anyway from most who use it.)

    Also, there is a blog called Shredheads that has posts, links, before/after pics, etc of different people who do the Shred.

    Oh men!!! you guys have inspired me to get back to it. I bought this DVD a month before our wedding with the intention of losing and toning up the last pounds. I think i did it for the first 2 days and never did it again:) I was just too busy with the last minute wedding stuff and errands to fit that in.. I thought it was a pretty good workout though.

    I am going to start tomorrow since I have noticed that I have started putting on weight already. Thanks for the inspiration.
