So......... I'm sitting in a faculty meeting not paying attention when my phone rings. Its a number I don't know so I let it go to voicemail. After the meeting I listen to the message. Its the owner of the venue calling me to tell me that she will be closing the venue. Are you effing kidding me right now lady was my response. She said when I come to pick up the money I've already paid that she will give me a list of other venues willing to pick up her clientele.

Once again I'm like lady I have a groomzilla who more than likely will shoot down any thing you offer. I said when can I expect payment. She said feb. Ummmmmmm last by then I will have found something on my own. so frustrated right now

I am thinking of it as a Blessing... Better now than closer to your date.. you know... and I know GOD will provide a MORE FABULOUS PLACE!!!

You will find a place...you have to keep it together.. because I think your groomzilla is gonna FLIP..

She didn't give a reason at all. I'm so over this. I'm about to have a DW if they don't quit playing with me. And thanks y'all. FI has an attitude with me like I decided to close the place

Awww! Sorry this is happening. It will all work out for the best. Let FI have his moment of being upset...you had yours...then yall both move on! Ole girl needs to give that $$ to you right away so you can put that deposit on another venue. I would expect if she called you today, then, your money is ready to put in your hands!!!!

Girl..I know how you feel right now. our 1st venue we reserved closed on us and I was too mad. But it was God saying this aint the place for you. Im sorry this happen but like pp youll find something better try not to stress

This! Right on the money! We have had venues around here close left and right and just took folks money.

Thanks ladies I really needed the support. I'm in an ok place right now. We have a couple of places to go look at starting Monday so hopefully something will pan out. Cha she said 3 weeks so there must be a wedding coming up
