You a right about the amazing shopping but for us living here, the $$ doesn't hold to the pound so very limited shopping in London. LOL
Are you getting married in the States or in the UK?

    You are so right...when i first moved here i looked at all prices as double....but I am over that now...been here almost 2 years, and the fashion is pretty different here so I have to take advantage of that.

     I'm getting married in Houston, but starting law school in the fall this year, so planning is going to be so hectic for me (really only one month in Houston between living here and going to school).

    I hear you on the pain  of planning from a distance. I hope you have parents/friends/family in Houston that can help with the planning... or try to find a wedding coordinator. You don't want to have too much on your plate and not do well in all areas.

    My BFF and bridesmaid went back to Law school last September. She is going to Westminster in London and it took her a while to get into the system, even though she studied in an English system in  high school... But she is getting a hang of it now.

    I am sure you will be fine. I really command you on going back to school. I think that's great. I take it you guys are staying in the UK after the wedding?

    I think we should have a mini get together the next time I am in London!

    Thanks girl, life for me is just moving fast right now, but i am so grateful to God for all he is blessing me with.  We will more than likely live in the states as I will go to school in the states.  Not sure yet, looking like Chicago or Boston, but only God knows right now, I am still waiting to hear back from schools.  

    I am blessed with 4 sisters and my momma so they already know they will help majorly and my older sis is getting married this July, so i will prob use a lot of her vendors too.

    Its so good to hear of ambitious folks, like your BFF, go on ahead with her bad self .  

    we should def meet up when you are in London next...do you know when that will be?
