I JUST WANT TO PLAN!!!

So ladies...because of this venue NONSENSE, I am stuck and cannot move forward with the rest of the wedding planning.

I cannot do anything until we have the venue squared away.

I feel like I am missing out on some wonderful experiences and the whole planning process. I dont want to feel stressed because there is so much to do with only a little time but I am starting to believe that it is going to go like that.

I am ready to go leave the $1000 deposit and move forward with everything else...I cant do that without making sure that is what FI wants as well.

Im sad that you still have to deal with this. I say, if its ok with fi, than do it. And start planning. You definitely need a venue. A side walk wedding might not sit to well with your guest. lol And just keep checking with the other venue to make sure that they let you know when your spot has been filled. Hell if you want, tell me the date give me the number and every once in a while I'll call  and pretend to be an inquiring bride. just to see if the date is filled. As soon as the say the date is unavailable I'll let you know. We can double team them. lol All I ask in return is for some red velvet cupcakes

Ksturgis made a great suggestion.  I think you should go on with your planning tyswife2b, honestly.  I completely understand your concerns, but I do believe that everything is going to work out.  The universe has a way of paying back good people like you.  So go on and plan that fabulous wedding, girl!  Oh! And Ravj2001 those red velvet cookies sound wonderful!
