Favors??

What are you ladies doing for favors?  I already bought these "chair" favor boxes that double as place cards, but I'm not sure what to put in them.  I was thinking Hershey kisses (because they're silver), but they are EXPENSIVE for the amount I would need to fill 100 2x2" boxes.  I'm not sure what to do.

If I suck it up and buy the kisses, when should I load them in?  I don't want to wait until the last minute, but I also don't want to have them melt and mess up the boxes over the summer.  What to do... what to do?

What are your favors?

Oooh....those are cute! Please share where you got them from.

I'm using candy as favors, but it won't be chocolate. I plan to load them the day before and just refrigerate them overnight. My wedding is not until 4pm, so they won't be cold at time of reception.

I have a couple of favor ideas. i can't narrow it down to one!! I was thinking about having cupcakes put in a cute clear container with a thank you tag attached. I love cupcakes!!

<div>There are different places that have them and I've seen them in white, silver and gold.... I got  silver.  I bought mine here: <a href="http://www.lightinthebox.com/Miniature-Silver-Chair-Favor-Box-with-Heart-Charm-and-Ribbon-set-of-12-_p122357.html">http://www.lightinthebox.com/Miniature-Silver-Chair-Favor-Box-with-Heart-Charm-and-Ribbon-set-of-12-_p122357.html</a></div><div>

Got the email... thanks!  The formatting was a little skewed, but I fixed it right on up!

Ok..... so salt water taffy is pretty reasonable.  Is that an appropriate favor for a non-beach wedding?

I don't think salt water taffy is a bad idea.  I feel like you can't really go wrong with any type of candy.

We're having a photobooth, so their pictures will be their favors.  Also, we get bags of candy as part of our package with our venue, so since it's included I'm also giving those as well.  I found these tuxedo and wedding dress boxes on ebay that cost $10 for 100 of them.  I'm putting the candy in these boxes since the tuxedos fit the black tie theme.  They're so cute!

Going along with our southern wedding theme, we decided to make homemade strawberry jam in 4oz mason jars with a cute label for favors. We are going to wait until late summer to puchase the jars and fruit because it will be the begining of canning season...hopefully everything will be cheaper.
