Debating!! to DIY or not to DIY....

So I ordered our cake topper from Crafty Eddy.  My original plan was to decorate it myself, however of course I procrastinated and am now about 6 weeks out.  Should I take this project on (it's our entire last name, not just the initial) or have it decorated??  Right now I'm leaning towards having it decorated =)

I think you have time to do it depending on how much other stuff you have left to do and how you want it decorated. But if you already have someone else in mind there's no harm in going that route either.

I do like the idea of doing it myself and luckily I don't have many things left to do.....I want it covered in rhinestones.  I'm not really a crafty person but I wouldn't think it would take more than a day or two at most.....

I'm still debating  if I want to bling my own....the girl who does them charges too much in my opinion but I also don't want to be bothered so we'll see

It can definitely be time consuming, but worth it in the end. I put rhinestones on the shoes in my siggy and it took a total of 8 hours.  If you pay someone it can get a bit pricey because of the amount of work that goes into it.  It can get really tedious!

You may want to look into using glitter instead of rhinestones if you're in a time crunch. It can give a similar look without as much time involved.

Ohh, I didn't even think of glitter!!  that's a great idea thanks.  I decided to pay to have it decorated.  But I may use the glitter idea to do other items that I wanna spruce up!  Thanks for the input ladies
