I'm so stinkin excited!  HM = BOOKED!!!  Long story short, MOH's dad offered for us use of one of his timeshares (we still plan to compensate him part of what it would cost us to rent one) and after a month of waiting to see if any of the places we wanted to stay at were available, one popped up!  So we jumped on that.

FI had enough points with Delta to get his flight for free and I wanted to book ASAP.  Well, then FI didn't want to book the flights at that time (although I did).  In the past 2 weeks we saw the cost of flights go up over $100/ticket and that also meant FI's ticket was no longer free.  Been REALLY stressed and frustrated with that the past couple weeks. 

Look today and the costs went down and FI booked and his ticket is free, so all we had to pay for was mine and his taxes.  Sooo...........CANCUN, HERE WE COME!!!!!!  Laughing

    That is so cool! I would have been so worried too in that situation! Flights have been ridiculous lately. That is really great, you're so lucky!!

    Free ticket and a timeshare, what a score! Congrats on the big fun check! It is exciting to catch the airfare when it is good, it is so not fun to watch it every day and not know when to buy!

    Koosh - I know!!  I saw your post - when are you guys going and where?

    Sara - Will do.  Actually, for excursions, I've been looking at Thomas More Travel - I know they go from the hotel zone in Cancun to various things, not sure about from the Riviera, but might be worth a peek?

    Yeah, I'm REALLY glad FI looked yesterday and booked.  Delta raised the point requirements again today so if he had waited until today, his would not have been free.  It takes a load of stress off.
