Got my dress (PIP)!!!

Today was a GREAT day! Not only did my mom finally get to see the dress but I had my grandmother, daughter, sister and FMIL with me when I picked up the dress. I was super scared I wouldn't be able to fit into the dress since it is form fitting and a got a lot of butt. BUT in the end the dress is WAY to big, even with tight pulling of the corset. I even think I found a veil (didnt plan on having one in the first place).

And is $160.00 a good price for a veil?

I am DEFINITELY getting in shape now!! Bump being the chubby bride! I am do a little better.

Most veils are pretty expensives so $160 is pretty good. (unless you are posting on the budget board, lol). Definitely shop around and compare prices.

If you can get to a city with a wholesale fashion district, you can get a cathedral length veil for $40 or less. Shorter veils will cost less. If you have to pay retail, then the $160 price point is fairly average. Try that option first. Ladies, for those of you who have purchased or ordered your wedding gowns from Pearl's Place, are the prices on the veils and accessories equally as competitive?

It's a very pretty dress and you look beautiful! Your dress looks really nice with the strap. The strap just adds something extra, and pizzazz!

@Pretty my mom, FMIL and grandmother loved the dress even more without the strap so I'm going to skip it now.

You look great! I'm happy you love it!!! I think the strap adds a little something extra too. I wore the strap for the ceremony and took it off for the reception
