Who is your person?

I was watching old episodes of Grey Anatomy and I like when Christina said that Meredith was her person. As we are planning for our big day, I often need someone to go to and  bitch about, to complain about anything and who listens to me. Even though, I talk to FI , sometimes he is not the right person for that job especially when at times, he is a source of that stress and frustration, LOL!
 So I have my person; that is my sister. I cannot believe how we became so close lately. I can call her anytime and she is always positive and gives me words of encouragement. I love her so mcuh and I thank the Lord that I have her by my side so that I can make it through stormy times. So ladies, who is (or who are ) your PERSON, the one that you are grateful to have beside FI of course!

I love Grey's Anatomy! But "my person" (besides my FI) is my mom. She's the one I would call, in any situation. I have a lot of great friends, but I consider my mom my true best friend.

My MOH is that person. We have been best friends for 14 years. Work, relationships and life in general have made us a little seperate before this. Only really meeting up for our once a month girls night. But since we started planning, she has been there for it all. She has been my rock, my sound board and my sanity.

My niece/planner. She's like the Priceline Negotiator for real! It's great to have family in the wedding biz.

Plus I'm finding that she's not my lil niece no more and I can talk to her about damn near anything.

I liked that episode on Grey's Anatomy although I'm a lil' mad at the writer's for the show and intend to boycott the show.  I just don't like the fact that the Chief is an alcoholic, and I don't think that Derek was a good fit for Chief.  I think it should have been Miranda.  And, while I'm happy that she now has a man ('cause that's another thing I was upset about), the guy playing her love interest is annoying.  He is a horrible actor.  Oh!  I'm sorry, I'm supposed to talk about my "person".  I don't know.  I don't think I have one key person that I can turn to other than FI.  I guess it's more like a combination of people rather than one person.  I go to the person that I think is most suited for the issue.  Like, I call up my girlfriend from law school when I have a fashion issue to discuss.  And I usually call up my FSIL when I have to gripe about simple stuff pretaining to FI.

My person is my favorite cousin / co-MOH. We've always shared everything probably because we're 6 weeks apart and she's an only child. I feel like I can tell her anything and she's always supportive and never judgmental. Plus, when my other MOH, my older sister, is getting on my nerves, my cousin is always there to calm me down and give me good advice. I love that girl and wouldn't trade her for the world.

hmmmm..well, my person is my MOH/Bestfriend. I can tell her ANYTHING and she won't judge me! I love GREYS!

My person is  my mom.  She listens and listens and listens.  She's my best friend.

My person is my mom.  She's listened to me whine, cry and get all girly excited.  She has been there from the beginning and even fakes interest when she just wants to go to bed.  She's been super supportive and helpful.

My person is a little complicated because I have like 4 persons. And they are there every time for me. My MOH is going through her own stuff so I don't bother her too much. My mom has never been married so her and wedding stuff is.... well you know lol.  But my persons are Alfdallas, Kat (mainly these two) but also MD-C, and LadySun. They have kept me sane (and God as well) through a lot of things, not just wedding related stuff.

My mom is my person.  She's always been a best friend to me, and I had no idea how excited and involved she'd get in the wedding planning.  She lives across the country so we're always on the phone or chatting online about wedding stuff (and everything else).  I love her to death!!!!
