Bare Minerals for Wedding day

I recently got a gift card to use a spa for free make up services. The spa only uses Bare Minerals make up though.. i've never worn it before but I've heard both positive and negative comments about it. If worn just for a regular day thats cool, but i want to make sure it photographs well.... have u ladies used it? how was your experience? U think it will photograph well???

    My MUA did my trial with it. I liked it since its the only makeup that make me breakout.

    I use Bare Minerals on an everyday basis and I love it, but I used a foundation from MAC for our engagement pictures and will probably use it again for my wedding day.  Bare Minerals does NOT photograph well at all.  It's mostly because of the SPF that's in it and because of the way the light reflects off of it it doesn't photograph pretty.  I've noticed since I've been using BM that in regular candid pictures it always looks like I have a shiny face even though my face really wasn't shiny.  I'm sure if you use BM for your wedding pictures your photographer should be able to touch up your face in pictures, but I would honestly avoid it for your wedding day.  
    You can try MAC's Longwear foundation and I believe that it doesn't have SPF, but don't quote me on that.  HTH!

    It has a tendency to make you look ashy in pictures due to the SPF. Are you doing a trial with your MUA. If so, bring your camera along and take pics with flash throughout the day to see how it reacts.

    Thanks all for your help.. Im still confused b/c i would love u use the spa services and not come out of pocket for expensive make up and a MUA... but i want to look the best for my pics. i also have tried the Iman products and I liked hers as well....

    i wear it every day, including my wedding day.  i didn't look ashy at all.   i had photos done inside and outside.  some of my photos are in links in my sig.

    but i agree with the other ladies, get with your photographer and do a trial run.
