Can't stop thinking about cupcakes

We went to the wedding show and the MOCA minies from Sugar Rush were so good that I can't stop thinking about them :( Stupid diet!

How do you stay on the 'healthy' track on days like these?

    I do my best to not keep unhealthy (but OH SO YUMMY) food in the house.  If it's not in my kitchen, then I can't eat it. 

    But if I do have chocolate or other sweets handy, I try to use portion control... like only 5 chocolate & peanut butter M&Ms a night.  I also try to eat nice full meals 3 times a day, so I'm not so hungry for snacks and stuff.

    It is THE WORST at work.  People are always bringing in cupcakes, doughnuts, and other junk food.  I tell them, when they offer me any, "Not until May 19th" (the day I'm back from my honeymoon).  And I stay out of the main breakroom at all costs if I know there are temptations waiting for me.

    All in all, it's a day to day struggle to stay "good" with what I eat.  I overindulged over the holidays, but I think I'm back on track now.

    That's why I started to have my healthy meals delivered, and I did throw everything out of the house that was sweet or unhealthy. Today there's just too much junk at work, but I'm trying hard.

    Drink lots and lots of water.  Everytime you want to snack, drink a big glass of water.  It will fill you up a little bit so you can stave off that temptation.

    I also try to do really healthy snacks.  I eat 3 well balanced meals and 2 snacks a day. it will keep your metabolism going too.  I do trail mix for my morning snack and something like dark chocolate covered pomegranates/blueberries (costco sells them) for my afternoon snack.  I am very strict about portion control too.  if the serving size says 2 tablespoons, then that's what i measure out and put in my little baggie and take to work with me.
