So I finally took the time to designed our monogram.   I was so excited with the way that it turned out.  Then I showed it to FI and he hates it! WTHeck!  I hate that he tells me "baby it's your day do what you want."  Gives me absolutely no input when asked.  Then when the job is done criticizes it.  URRRRRGGGGGG MEN!!!!!!! I still have not decided if I am going to start over or just roll with it cause I really like it.

I like it! Men will be men. Did he say why he didn't like it? Tell him to design one (give him a deadline) and when the deadline comes (more than likely he won't design it ontime) tell him that you'll just use what you already have. lol. 

All jokes aside, you may have to make a compromise. Did he have something else in mind?

I like your logo too.  I am going to have to agree with Chescam on this one. If he has strong feelings about the design of it, you may have to take his ideas into consideration.  Perphaps he would be okay with a small modification vs. you having to start from ground zero on a new concept.  He may come around and decide he likes it once he spends a little time with it.  Can you give him some ideas about how and where you wanted to use it in your wedding decor so he could get a better visual for it?

Men will be men they are very comfortable with judging, if you like the design and he does not have any input or a better design then just go with that one.

My H did the same thing.  I'm like I put in the work its not getting changed now.

My Fi is the same way. I would still use it unless he can come up with something else. Men don't know what they are talking about when it comes to certain things LOL.

Ugh...men. It looks realy cute!  What are you colors? Maybe in the name of compromise add a little color to it and see if he likes it. Possibly make your last initial one of your wedding colors.

I like your monogram and I agree with Chescam.  Have him come up with something or see what he doesn't like about it and tweek it a little bit.  My FI loves this kind of thing and is designing ours.  I just told him my vision and he ran with it.

So ladies I took your advice and told him since he didnt like it he needs to make another one that I could use.  0_0  <---- blank stare.  Ummmm yeah some how all of a sudden it is cool now. LMBO MEN!!!  I am just using this on the invites anyway so it's not like it is going to be everywhere. 

Our wedding colors are black, white, and silver.  I plan to add a little bling to the end of the J when I put them on the invites.  I can't wait.  Thanks again ladies for your wise advice!

I think it is beautiful!  I don't even have a wedding monogram and don't plan on making one.  He didn't think about how much work you put into it. Lol!  Men!  Can't live with them ,can't live without them. Haha!

Aww your colors are like mine but we are adding in soft pink as well.  I like the monogram, Men don't know what they are talking about half the time, use it as much as you want

I love it.  What I would do is tell FI that either he is involved in the planning and will help, or he cannot hate anything.  If I were you, I would probably probe questions to see what he likes.  I did that with my FI.
