Did you and FI open up a separate bank account just for wedding expenses?

No, but that would've been a good idea in retrospect.  Maybe I wouldn't have spent so dang much...

We opened it as our joint account for bills and such but it is now for our wedding expense too.

We also opened a joint checking and savings account for the wedding which will become our joint married account after we are married.

We'll keep our separate accounts as well after we are married with an agreed upon percentage going to the joint accounts.

We opened up a second account for the wedding. I'm really glad we did because it's easier for us to keep wedding money and household bill money separate.

Yep, we opened a checking and savings account for wedding stuff. We're going to keep that as our joint account after we get married.

We are using one of my accounts that I never use through Navy Federal. Once we get married I will add him on to that account and it will become our joint bank for future expenses.

We are doing as many others. We opened the joint checking/savings for the wedding funds and will use it for our joint account. We are keeping our separate accounts as well.
As singles we split the rent & each cover certain bills. One idea I saw somewhere was each person puts 1/2 of their paycheck in joint checking, 1/4 in joint savings and 1/4 in personal account.

No, but it would have been good practice for after the wedding and handling day to day expenses.
