um girl did you create the reception venue name just for us because Chateau Bu-Sche ("bougay/ie" in my head) made me giggle a little.

btw, fact check me on this but I do believe that to say adults only is an etiquette no-no. instead you're supposed to address the invitation to the invitees only. check me on it though.

Ok so I think it is, buuuuuuuttttttt, every wedding that I've been to, had it on their invitation. And need I not say this... But I put it on mine too b/c FI has like 40 little cousins all under the age of 12. I put it on the invitation and guess what happened... One family member is staying behind to watch ALL 40 of those little cousins. Yes! So what I'm saying is sweetie, you do you! You're the one shelling out money for this fabulous shindig and you should have what you want

Thanks! Actually that IS the name of my venue lol "Bu-Sche" would be pronounced (boo-shay). And yes I know based on etiquette you aren't suppose to put adults only but I must break this rule lol. I dont want to take any chances!

I'm not sure. I'm cool with putting "adult only reception to follow" but I dont want people to think its okay to bring their children to the ceremony (in case they are only coming to the ceremony). Maybe I'm just being picky or crazy.

• lol. okay, understood. wasn't trying to start no mess, but she did ask us to eyeball it.

@ M1ssJ: how come? are we?
• Adults only is technically a no-no but if we start counting how many rules the guest break...we'd lose count. From what I see it looks okay to me. I like the two sep. lines at the end for "Adults only" and "Reception to follow" that way the Adults only stands out ;)

My wedding is in Vegas so there's no need for an "adults only" line, heck ya'll bring ya'll toddlers to Vegas if ya wanna...I'M going to be down at the Roulette table...smh....

:)

YES!! LOL
Anniversary
• I put Adult Only Reception immediately following ceremony on the reception card.

This way you don't technically have it on the "invitation" but your guests will see it.
Wedding date July 7, 2012
• Not addressing the etiquette per se, but just the wording.

Say Adult Reception To follow. It sounds better than Adults Only Reception.... #IMO

• I agree with Carla, I will be noting adults only with exception of children in wedding party, but it will be on the Reception or RSVP. Plus I'm putting the _(number of seats reserved in your honor on my RSVP too! I ain't fixing to play with folks! LOl
