**Tygirl**

Do you have the Motorola Droid? Other than not being able to post to TK from it, how do you like it? I'm going to have to take the smartphone plunge for work, and I'm curious what people think about their phones.

I have the Motorola Cliq which is the same thing as the Verizon Droid.  It has the Android system on it and from what I was told is the exact same thing, just different shape/size/name.  Besides not being able to post on TK, I love it.  I have the first generation of the Cliq with the slide-out physical keyboard which I wanted - can't stand the virtual touch screen keyboard (although that does pop up if I don't slide it open).  Downside is there isn't predictive text which I miss from the Blackberry I had before, but I was told there's an appication on the Droid market to download software that does that.  My favorite thing is all the updates I get from my various email accounts linked to my MotoBlur account as well as Facebook updates.

Butting in.  I have a Samsung Rogue from Verizon, with slide out full keyboard.  I really like it.  It has internet and email, not as fast as many options as a Blackberry or I-phone, but its more affordable and does the job.

**Butting in as well - I have the droid and love it.  It predicts text which can also be annoying as I tend to abreviate a lot and it changes the word - ie: app -> apparently, but I like that it has a slide out keyboard when I get frustrated with the touch screen.  I didn't like the eris because to navigate you have to use the ball like blackberry...which I found to break easily. I have verizon and it has pretty good 3g coverage and speed.  It is a little bulky though, but all smart phones are about the same size.

Ahuette - did yours come with predictive text or did you get a program from the droid market for it?  That's the thing I wish mine has, just haven't sorted through the marketplace yet for a program, but I also just replaced my phone.

Oh, and that's probably one of my complaints about the market: while it has TONS of programs, 90% of which are free, lots of which also have reviews, they don't have the market laid out well.  You have to sort through tons of programs to MAYBE find one you want unless you know the actual name of the  program.
