Transportation Issues

The wedding is OOT for everyone

So our ceremony is on the beach 5 driving minutes from our recomended hotels and 20 walking minutes. The ceremony has a public parking lot that requires a meter.

Our reception is 25-30 minutes from the ceremony location.

Should I provide transport for the guests to and from the host hotels to the ceremony spot so they don't have to pay for parking?

or should I let them just thug it out?

If I provide transport to the ceremony do I have to provide transport to the reception?

<div>So I kinda lucked out in that my hotel already had a shuttle that transport guests within a certain distance so they will take guest to and from venue. Look into that! And have guests sign up for shuttle service when they arrive. </div><div>
</div><div>If you do provide transportation to the ceremony, you will also have to provide transportation to the reception. </div><div>
</div><div>IMO, when you go to destination wedding it is important that you think of ALL costs even if that means renting a car or taking a cab. That is why I also listed on my website, places to rent a car to put it in guests minds that they should probably think of that when budgeting for travel. </div>

I agree with everything Ro said! Mine is OOT for everyone and I too lucked out that the hotel provides shuttle although some people already said they will prefer to drive. I went to an OOT wedding last summer and the ceremony was across town and the reception was at the hotel. I didn't think twice about transportation. My BFF was concerned but I didn't even expect it so I wasn't disappointed when there was none. I prepared myself ahead of time.

Ok we're on the same wavelength. I do not want to provide all day shuttle service because of the expense. I too would rent a car. I'm going to put that on the site
